Diploma Work General Information
The rules, deadlines and procedures for the Diploma Work are described in the Student Requirements System of Óbuda University (hereinafter referred to as SRS)
According to the SRS, the student is required to choose a topic (by 30 April or 30 November), prior to the semester of the Diploma Work. The topic (own or provided by the teacher) must be agreed with the chosen consultant. The choice of an institutional consultant is mandatory; an external, company-based consultant may be chosen, but is not mandatory.
The internal institutional consultant will post the topic in Neptun and the student have to register for it.
After that, the Diploma Work may be taken up.
In the semester of the Diploma Work, regular consultation with the consultant is required for the preparation of the thesis. At the end of the semester, the institutional consultant confirms by e-mail to the subject supervisor that the appropriate amount of consultation has taken place.
In case the student has uploaded his/her thesis to the Diploma Portal (https://diploma.uni-obuda.hu/) by the current deadline according to the SRS and the consultant marks the thesis as being ready for assessment, the Diploma Work subject will be signed.
