Bánki Successes in Temesvár🏅

We are pleased and proud to report that students of the Bánki Faculty represented our institution with outstanding results at the 27th Temesvár Technical Scientific Students’ Conference. The prestigious professional event provided an excellent opportunity for participating students not only to present their scientific work, but also to build connections with students and lecturers from other institutions, while meeting representatives of Hungarian technical higher education beyond the borders of Hungary.

In the Mechanical Engineering section, Viktória Annamária Varga achieved 1st place with her paper titled “Comparative Investigation of the Properties of Duplex Coating Systems Formed on 42CrMo4 Steel.” Her work was supported and supervised by Dr. Richárd Horváth and Prof. Dr. Mihály Antal Réger.

Ákos Zsámbok also presented his research at the conference in the Applied Informatics section with his presentation titled “Real-Time Robot Localization and Model Fitting in Virtual Reality.” The supervisor of his work was Bence Varga.

The participants gained valuable experiences, inspiring ideas, and renewed motivation, all of which may play a significant role in their future research and professional development.
