The defining point of our celebrations is the engineering oath, during which our students who successfully complete their studies publicly pledge that they will act to the best of their knowledge throughout their entire career, demonstrate fair professional conduct and responsibility towards their environment. We asked mechatronics engineer László Anzelm Bodrogai to read out the oath.
Following the oath, we said goodbye to the Head of Dean’s Office Andrea Barta, who has performed the duties of the Office for more than 10 years and has enriched our community not only with her professional knowledge, but also with her humanity, attentiveness and supportive presence. We were able to thank her for countless successful Faculty programs, children’s days, summer universities, and the RECCS World Championship in Spaghetti Building. The Dean presented a souvenir in her honor. On behalf of the students, Regő Rédei, also on behalf of the Student Government, said goodbye as well to Andrea Barta and presented her a souvenir, then addressed the graduates with his ceremonial speech. At the end of his speech, he invited graduate Ágota Lina Sebestyén to the stage, to whom he presented a souvenir for her outstanding public role.
We wish our graduates that all their plans in life come true, that the years they will spend working will bring joy and happiness. May they cherish and maintain their relationship with the Bánki Faculty with a good heart. We hope that in the future the company you founded can be one of our professional partners, and even your child can be a potential student. We would like to thank the Dean’s Office, the Registrar’s Office and the Student Government for their help in organizing and conducting the graduation ceremony.
