Our colleagues received high-ranking state decorations on the occasion of the national holiday commemorating the foundation of the Hungarian state.

In recognition of his exemplary and dedicated work, Dr. László Kutor, electrical engineer, psychologist, and honorary professor of Obuda University, was awarded the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary.

For her outstanding professional achievements, Dr. Erzsébet Ancza, certified mechanical engineer, former Vice Dean for Education of the Donát Bánki Faculty of Mechanical and Safety Engineering at Obuda University, Associate Professor, received the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary (Civil Division).

Dr. habil. Mónika Pogátsnik, chemical engineer, economist specialized in marketing, engineering teacher, Vice Dean of the Alba Regia Faculty of Obuda University, Director of the Institute of Engineering, Associate Professor, was also honored with the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary (Civil Division).

Prof. Dr. Zoltán Rajnai, Hungary’s National Cyber Coordinator, member of the Scientific Council of the Interministerial Committee for Disaster Management Coordination, Vice Rector of Obuda University, University Professor, likewise received the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary (Civil Division).

The awards were presented at the Pesti Vigadó by Balázs Hankó, Minister of Culture and Innovation, and Veronika Varga-Bajusz, State Secretary for Higher Education, Vocational and Adult Education, and Youth Affairs.
