A Close-Up Look at Ammunition Production – Our Defense Engineering MSc Students Visit MFS Ammunition Factory
In November 2025, Defense Engineering MSc students from the Bánki Faculty of Obuda University participated in another exciting professional visit, this time to the MFS Defense Zrt. ammunition factory.
The program was organized by our colleague Dr. János Gyula Kocsi, and the students were accompanied by Dr. habil. Tibor Farkas, Dean of the Faculty.
During the visit, the factory staff provided a detailed introduction to the plant, its history, the manufacturing processes, and the ballistics department, giving students the opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the technologies and operations of the modern ammunition industry.
As part of the program, the Dean also held discussions with Mr. György Károly, CEO of MFS, regarding potential collaborations and professional internships.
