Description of the academic program:
The course offers a 5 days online and a 5 days face-to-face course. In addition, during the training, applicants can participate in rich intercultural programs that introduce them the Hungarian culture, Budapest, and the study programs of Obuda University.
With a solid knowledge of the basics, students can independently develop their skills and successfully implement their ideas. They solve quantum programming. The project stimulates creativity and technical proficiency. They gain practical experience that allows them to delve deeper into the topic. We also offer an online post-course for an additional credit, during which students can take part in an online quiz based on the knowledge acquired during the physical course.

This is the university’s own dormitory, located approximately a 3-minute walk from the Buda campus. The six-story building, reopened in 2019, offers fully equipped double and triple rooms, as well as apartment-style accommodations. The dormitory is operated under the supervision of the sub-dormitory director, in cooperation with the Sub-Dormitory Student Government.
The total capacity is 390 residents. All rooms are equipped with a kitchenette (microwave, electric kettle, refrigerator) and a private bathroom. Each floor has at least two study rooms, and on the sixth floor there is a larger common room that can host smaller events or parties.
Additionally, every floor features a large shared kitchen (with cooking and baking facilities) and a laundry room (with washing, drying, and ironing facilities).
Tram lines 41, 17, and 19 all stop right in front of the dormitory.

- Take Bus 100E from Liszt Ferenc Airport Terminal 2
→ Get off at Astoria M

- Take Metro Line M2 toward Déli pályaudvar

TRAVEL GUIDE
Transfer from the airport
Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport (BUD), formerly known as Budapest Ferihegy International Airport, is about 9 miles/ 15km from the city centre. Terminal 2 is divided into 2A and 2B. 2A serves flights to/from Schengen countries and 2B serves all non-Schengen destinations. You have several options to get to the city centre. Your preference can differ by the travelling time and its cost.
Before arriving at Budapest we highly recommend you to download the Budapest Go App (EN version is available), this can help you to plan your travel in Budapest and you can buy tickets, too.
Fastest option: Both terminals are accessible by public transport. The easiest way to get to the city centre is Bus no. 100E, which goes from the airport straight to the Deák Ferenc square in the centre. It leaves from Deák tér (square) and from the Airport every ten minutes during the day. Bus 100E stops at the BKK bus stop at the airport between the two terminals on the arrival level. Passengers may get off the bus going to Deák tér (square) at Kálvin tér (square) and at Astoria stations. A special ticket must be purchased for bus 100E for – other tickets or season tickets are not valid for this service. Cheapest option: Bus 200E takes passengers to Kőbánya-Kispest metro (M3) terminal from the Airport and back. The bus operates between 4:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. From the Kőbánya-Kispest metro terminal, passengers can take the M3 (for the timetable please click here metro towards Újpest Központ to reach the city centre. It is possible to change to metro lines M1 (for the timetable please click here and here) at the Deák Ferenc tér (square) stop in the inner city.
Shuttle service: there are also shuttle services, the most popular is miniBUD with prices starting from 2 490 HUF for the nearest destinations. (https://www.minibud.hu/)
The Hungarian currency is Forint (HUF). In general, all shops accept Visa and
Mastercard, but it is recommended to have some cash. Y d M2 (for the timetable please click you can use Cash offices in the city, or you can also use ATMs to withdraw forints. Revolute Wise and similar cards can be used, too.
